Maharaja Chhatrasal Bundelkhand Vishwavidyalaya was established in 1973. The University has 22 departments with 3 faculties and 21 research centers. It offers a wide range of programmes: Doctrate, PG, PG- diploma, Certificate and Diploma courses in various disciplines. More than 200000 students are enrolled spanning across the six districts in Madhya Pradesh. Since its inception, it provides affiliation to 194 colleges.
